How To Manage Your Sales People Seminar
From http://www.hardtofindseminars.com It may seem like some people just don’t have a gift for sales. When Ian started his first sales job, his only training for the position was, “Hang in there. You’ll do fine.” The job lasted two hours and ended with his boss telling him he should become a waiter. Listen to how Ian went from being that no-talent kid to a highly sought-after sales management consultant. Ian says that a salespeople aren’t born; they’re trained. Hear my seminar on how to manage your sales people.

What is it like working as a Sales Consultant for Sparkletts Water?
What would I be doing working as a Sales Consultant for Sparkletts Water..And what would be a realistic income my first yr if I pursued this.
Look, you would be route salesman and would require you to go door-to-door. If that is you nitch go for it. If it is to visit businesses, it could be good.

As a car sales consultant with demo plan priviledges, is it possible to get a demo plan for your spouse aslo?
I just want to know can I get a demo plan for my spouse if I accept a sales job with demo plan priviledges. Or can I at least get them a car at a very discounted price?
I would guess that word ‘employee’ figures somewhere in the ‘demo plan’ contract details … (so, sorry, no)
I would expect as an employee, you would be entitled to some discount in purchasing cars yourself, however I doubt there is any discount for partners / spouses …
What is it like working as a sales consultant for ATT/Cingular or Verizon Wireless?
I applied online Monday, attended a ‘hiring event’ and was offered a job as a sales consultant for ATT/Cingular. It pays $12/hour plus commission.
I’m 18 and starting college, and it seems a bit too good to be true. I want to major in business and feel I could be an excellent sales person, but I read that you must meet a certain sales quota. Is this easy to do or could I easily be fired?
I also received a call from Verizon today, wanting to set up an interview.
Does anyone work at either of these stores?
I’m just concerned because it seems like I was hired too fast and the interview was held at an ATT hiring event in a conference room at a nice hotel. There were quite a few people and I’m just wondering why they are hiring so many people.
Could someone please tell me what the catch is to this?
I was with Cingular-AT&T the pressure is brutal… They have huge billing issues and that make a retail rep crazy helping a customer with their account issues instead of selling.
It’s all numbers and just numbers there are no addaboys for doing what is right. Make sure that you stay on your supervisor’s good side, they can and will play with the numbers if they want to get rid of you.
Make sure that you get a good store with plenty of business or you will find your stay to be 4-6 month if that. Almost forgot their reps are making less today per activation than ever. Still it is a much better gig than working at McDonalds….
Good Luck…….

want to know about the duties and responsibilities of a sales consultant?
Is a sales consultant help us in sales, will he work directly i want to know the responsibilities and duties of a sales consultant.
A sales consultant is just a fancy title for a salesperson.
You carry a quota. You make the quota, you will be well rewarded; you fail for more than 2 quarters, you are out the door.
Unless you like hard sell sales work, cold calling, and the volatility of the salary, you should look for other opportunities. On the other hand, if you are a good salesperson, you could do well, very well, indeed.
What knowledge would you need to be a sales consultant?
What knolwedge would you need to be a sales consultant?
"Sales" is an "art" some do well, some do not. Most important is "product knowledge" and understanding. It takes time to fully become knowledgeable and study on your part is mandatory.
Good "communicator", understand proper grammar, and speak clearly in English. Many American companies are realizing out-sourcing customer service, sales, support, etc. to other countries, i.e., India, is losing money and clients. What began as a money saving venture is "costing" more mainly from loses in client revenue. Why? Speaking from personal experience and reading about complaints to Fortune 500 companies, a "polite" individual calls, I, nor anyone else, can understand. I give them a second chance with same results, I ask for a manager, they, in broken English explain the product. I canceled my credit card, get a call from Iowa from a well spoken person in English as to why. A month later I get a letter from the President of the company with a contact number in the states and I renewed.
Now I just say no thanks if I get a "hint" of an accent and "hang up".
Get "training". Work under someone that has been successful.
Good Luck, stay positive.
What should I put in a portfolio for a sales consultant?
I am making a small book for my friend is who a car sales consultant. I am including letters that he has received from customers, a copy of his page from Who’s Who, and a list of his certifications. Does anyone have any other ideas of things I can put in the book?
I believe what you are talking about is what is called an "evidence binder"
It is information about the sales person, the product he/she is selling and even information about the competition. That way if someone is looking to shop your product against others you might be able to keep them there by showing them what they think they want to go see elsewhere.
I sell cars and I have made an evidence binder for each one of the cars that I sell. In each binder I have the same pics and bio about me but just only have info about a specific car and its competition. So in short I have 8 different binders one for each car I sell.
The "Evidence Binder" is essential for a sales person who is looking to be the number one in the store!
One more thing…
If you could have your friend check out my blog. I write a sales blog that covers a new close or closing technique every day and it is focused around the car business although I try to relate it to all dales industries. It is also a place you can ask me questions via email or leave comments.
Thanks!
